    In the starting post of this thread you were concetrating, it appears, on just the die chip in the date. It's good to remember even if you find one anomoly on a coin doesn't mean that there are not others. Look the entire coin over and you may just be surprised at what you may find. As Greg suggested possibly die clashes. I have gone through my inventory several times and always find something that I have missed previously. This is why I suggested photos of the MM. Hopefully you can put a number to the RPM.
