I agree, the rather dramatic ones can be $5-20. Minor ones will languish with no sales. Maybe in a few years with more collector interest they'lll increase...

If it is naked eye obvious, they'll sell on eBay for at least $5-10. They should sell for more if you ask me...

Trail dies are another underrated die variety in my opinion. They don't get as much publicity due to a lot of them not being dramatic enough, compared to a strong doubled die, and that they are more recent varieties, technically speaking. (Most, if not all common trails on lincoln cents are found on 1983 and later.) There are quite a few very strong trail dies though, I think 1994 and 1995 have some crazy-looking ones on the reverse. Their educational value is in the eye of the beholder.Comment

Well here is a 1994P! Im not sure from what die thou.. Bob to answer your question,they just dont sell.. I can beat the hell out of a cent and put it on Ebay and call it "Beat Up".I'd get at least 25$
I put a nice trail die on ebay and no one would even view it!!
