I don't believe that the information on the minting process has changed in the newest edition.

We definitely don't want the ANGRY version LOL Thanks very much guys!

That's a fantastic link Jody- can you tell me a little about it? How'd you find it? Free to distribute? Authorized by the author or publisher?

Ok Vivien, now I understand what you were saying.
There is only one obverse for 97.
Sometimes with doubled dies they show up best in some areas, what we call the "pick up points". But once you look closer at other areas, maybe the beard or anything then you might see it did effect those areas too. but still there was only one design used for the year.

The different faces or design varieties are a different thing (RDV and ODV). Like the change in the portrait between 68-69 or the different reverse used only in 73 or the change in reverses when they switched the bus strikes to be the close AM in 93. There are others but those are the easiest ones for me to see.

Yes GrumpyEd, that is what I was trying to describe and I was wondering about it especially as it relates to doubled ears if the actual face (facial expression) is different. Leave it to me to make an easy question messy LOL

On a side note, the entire book did download, I saved it to my hard drive and all 354 pages are clearly viewable! This is fantastic information, thank you Jody!

Thanks Viv. Glad I could help out.

Honestly Chris, I stumbled upon that one night while "googling" some terms in combination with "Strike it Rich". If it weren't for the fact that it is on the publisher's site I would hesitate to even share it. Since it's on the publisher's site, and comes up in searches, I would say use it if needed but keep it amongst ourselves.

                  PCGS Coinfacts

Does anyone know if all of the Lincoln coin facts info, including all of the various varieties, can be printed out or better yet comes in book form?

The only way I know of to see the PCGS coinfacts is on their website. And I think you need to be a member now to do it.

You can see a lot of info at other sites. I mean sites like Variety Vista. Coppercoins for varieties.
