I posted this 1980 D online a few years ago but never really got my questions answered then I came across this forum and hoping somebody knows what this is? I call it a strange anomaly but you folks may have seen it before, I have not. I've been told it's not DD or MD or PMD, at least I don't think it is. Any info is of course greatly appreciated.

You can see it on the mm and date in the same direction, it's MD. The die that made this coin is a late die state too, much deterioration.
