1989 Reverse that looks like a '88 Rev

I shot this one long ago but I am going to submit this tomorrow for attribution and since there are a lot more new members I would like to put it up for comments, Just for Fun. What is your call?

Look normal for 88 LOL but not 89 I'd send it also.

Could be clearer but it looks like an 005 to me.

Looks normal, but with a gas bubble deceptively giving the appearance of the flared g. Maybe with a clearer pic we could see this diagnostic better.

Looks thin like a -005 and has a long upper loop like a -005... but the shape of a -006.

          I say RDV-006.

I hope I'm wrong. Good luck.

It is a RDV-005. The top of the G extends too far to be RDV-006.

This is an 89 coin Joe. Thats the odd thing here. If I found this on an 88 I would just toss it back but this is an 89, right??

I would have to send it in. To where is the question.

Looks a lot like an 005, the only thing that says 006 to me is the location of the G. Good luck with the attribution !

It was a coin such as this one which ultimately turned out to be a worn/abraded RDV-006. Previous to that revelation, it was thought to be an RDV-005 on a 1989 coin

Late to the party, but another vote for -005. The distance from the memorial building is much to large, a key attribute to look for. I hope your next one is it!

I also vote for the -005. As we mentioned on the last thread- there's a big gap there between the F and the building.

It seems that a few who have responded to this thread are missing the point that the coin shown in Lucien's pics is a 1989.

So, basically the exact opposite of a RDV-006. This is a 1989 obverse with a possible 1988 reverse. Wow, can't wait to see what you find out Lucien! Bill
