James that's not the spot for any variety. That's a bummer.

You may have found the secret to cleaning. I may have to try that for grins and giggles on a cull coin. Get that bottle plant running! lol

Way to go James! Now you are going to have all of us unfortunate pool-less collectors sneaking into the neighbors yards in the dead of night and stealing pool water... gee whiz, and I thought this was a crime free zone!

James, do you have to have them in your pocket? Or can you just dip the coins in the water?
Also, how long were you in the water? And, one final, what was the temp of the water?
            Thanks.

Well here is a fast answer:

Pool uses salt type filtration system, but you can't taste the salt type and does not effect eyes.

                  Temp was probably 85 f

                  In water maybe 45 minutes.

The reason it ended up in pocket was the wife saying I am waiting on you and (you know no gentleman in the south keeps a lady waiting)

Wife said it's a fountain of youth.

So the filtration system breaks down the salt into sodium and... can anyone guess?

Furthermore, swimming pool water is very prone to low PH levels. I would check that if I were you. Not only will it clean your coins, but it will turn your hair green too!

Wendell it is the same coin, which I will have in the mail tomorrow going to another LCR member.

But I do hope to find another.

lolol..But seriously , salt filtration is the cleanest and least expensive way of keeping a pool clear. No harsh chemicals at all. The filter is expensive but it pays itself off quickly
