Insane, but I think this is good for the hobby. A cent from the 90s commanding $13,000 +? That creates a buzz, my friends! People outside of our little circle of friends start looking for this coin and maybe "catch the fever" along the way.
Boy, I remember watching a 64 rd sell for $3k a few years ago on ebay thinking how insane it was for someone to pay so much for the spacing between the "a and m!" Maybe that was a STEAL?Comment

I completely agree. And once the fever spreads other varieties will start selling like hotcakes.Insane, but I think this is good for the hobby. A cent from the 90s commanding $13,000 +? 6 have been graded by PCGS, and yes, $3000 seems about right, however, 1998 Close AM proofs once sold at the $3,000 level, they are down to $600 now. The point being that all of us here are searching, and more WILL become available and lower the pops.
Its not my money, but why would you take the risk to loose so much not if, but when the coin population and price drop?

For one thing, these are NOT 98, 99, or 2000 WAMs. The pops aren't going to dramatically increase on these. Think about it. We see posts here all the time of people finding WAMs. When's the last time you saw a post about a 92-D CAM find? Lots of people are searching, but they aren't out there in the same numbers as the WAM's.“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”Comment
