I have seen ones like these go for $5 to even as high as $13 on eBay. I wonder if I am honest, by stating "could be replated" and "could be artificial toning", if I could get that much for each?

Give it a try Sean....nothing wrong with an honest description and a cool looking coin...let the buyers decide the value.

OK, so here they are. I have been as honest as honest can be. Let us see what happens.

Just a tip, you said "I am positive if the toning is natural or not"

I would buy one. I might buy one. They're cool I know a coworker of mine would love it reprocessed or not.

Sean--I am going to put my two cents in LOL

First, shockingly I was going to post a similar topic.

Second, reason being, I actually was in a new coin store I stumbled upon last week and I spotted a 1943 PCGS MS67 with very very similar toning. I too, had never seen such a thing. It was beyond beautiful. The best way I could describe it is: "mother of pearl".

I should have bought it. But I was also suspicious if this is natural.

LOL, there are 7 watchers on each of the 3 I listed on the bay. Wonder who will pull the trigger to try and scare off the others.

LOL, Joe. Tell ya truth, you might just scare off other bidders. It has been my experience on eBay, when I have a lot of watchers they start to fall off after someone bids.

I've noticed the same, but I've also noticed that auctions without bidding activity prior to the hours before the auction closes--usually ends at a lower price than those that are sporadically bid upon.

I think when no one bids in the days leading to close, the bid snipers close in and win low.

I had a semi key date Shield Nickel, that I bought for $5 at an estate sale. Sold it on eBay. I had zero bids in the first 6 days 20 hours. The last 4 hours it went from an opening bid of $9.99 to a hammer price of $175. You gotta love eBay.

Those colors on a steel cent are not market acceptable. They simply do not tone like that without having been chemically exposed. Check this one out:
