Thank you very much Jody and Jon!

Jody, you helped me so much along the way... you even sent me the 1934-DDR-002, 1944P-DDR-005 and 1953D-1MM-002 in the mail to help me know what a Wheat doubled die and RPM looked like! They are awesome looking wheat cents and after seeing them things really did start clicking, thank you so much! I really miss you and hope you are able to stop in more often!!!

Congratulations because it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.

I think where we came into this hobby with shields abound already it's been a little easier for us. I know its a totally different minting process and it's just not the same. If I had started pre-shield I would be the worst and fight it every step of the way. I hate change!!

I totally agree with you Jon, and I'm the same way with some things when it comes to change! The Shields do leave some things lacking... although there are some really nice DDO's and DDR's! It just doesn't compare to holding and nice Wheat or Copper cent in your hand, wish we could go back in time

Thank you very much John! It sure was an exciting find, then shortly thereafter I found another one just like it!

How about some more 2016's! We would love to see your favorite finds for the year!

Out here where almost every shield is a D it's almost futile to look at them. What was the last D mint cent that was an exciting find? If you get P mints there's a lot to find, in the D mints it's really tough and the average box here has almost all D mint moderns. They must have really good QC in the D mint.

That is something I forget about Ed. You folks are limited with the Denver mint doing too good of a job!!
