    Machine doubling

I used black and white because the pics were too shiny. Doubling shows on the entire obverse. Just sharing my find.

Cooool find Aisha. There's gotta be a special class for all these major MD finds... but, alas, we will continue to find and enjoy them anyway!

Really nice Aisha... I like the idea of black and white... As you said no glare... I have discovered that using a red l.e.d. I can see the coins much better than with a bright white or blue/white light... Only thing is it has to be dark in the room... LOL... It is also less strenuos on my eyes!!!

Nice example. Would cause heart palpitations for most roll searchers...

Um, twoyankees, that's not MD! That's a DDR! Class II, and it might be the one in the Cherrypicker! A genuine doubled die, NOT machine doubling!

                Great find!

I don't know Wendell. I would have to see it in hand, but this one does look like MD to me. I can see what you are referring to, but I am not convinced it is a Doubled die.

The reverse posted is probably not FS-027 (DDR-020) - not sure it is strong enough - it may be a Class II DDR...OR MD...I would like a closer picture to double check - not to start a an argument Wendell. There are a lot of Class II DDRs from '62 through '64 that look like this one - but as it is based on someone else's pictures, I would just want to see a definitive notch at maybe the bottom of the N or T.

Here is FS-027: (post script - I see several users got here while I was writing my response and looking for a photo collage).
