In my opinion, I think there should be more legal cases against falsifying information. Period. I believe that if there was more of this brought into the scene, people, whether knowingly or otherwise will think about posting, selling, etc. their goods before trying to scam.

I understand the time and costly ramifications the courts can produce in fees and personal time, but, really, beside us citizens bringing and calling out one's bluff, the legal action will be the only way.

Augh, I can't focus on my pivotal point here...too much hustle and bustle and with kids, hubby and music. lol. I think you all get my point? (I hope??)
What ever you do...do it with passion

Unless you can show me otherwise, I only know of one person who reports such things - ME. I have never, not once, seen a coin disappear due to an estimate of value that I did not report. Oh, and eBay does no police work of their own. Since I have never reported such an auction, I really doubt it will be pulled for containing an estimate of value. I would appreciate it if you could show me one that has been pulled.

I'm sorry, but I am just irritated. I have found the source of all 5 of her pictures and made a collage showing them. They all have been greatly altered...

Rim, You have a familir arrogance about you. So , Mr Know-it-all, what makes you think you are the only one on this planet with an inherant respect for this hobby and the good people involved? The amount of knoweledge and experience of the members of this forum is immeasurable. Don't lull yourself into believing you are the only one with any resources. Just state'n, not hate'n Tom

OK, you have sold me. Let me in on the "SOLD DDOs location and I will see what I can do about getting it gone. I know the last is Heritage, but where are the other 2?

I am not sure which report actually worked, but someone's did. They removed her/his second listing.

She/he could not get it listed on USA eBay, so she/he now has it listed on eBay Canada now. BTW, still with the same pictures.

Again, eBay removed her listing. I got this from eBay,
This listing has been the subject of much discussion. The eBay Coin
Community Watch group agrees that the listing and images are suspicious.
As a result, I removed the listing.

                        I received:
I sent your report to the Coin Community Watch group and they agreed
with your assessment. As a result, I removed the listing. Thank you
very much for sending such a well researched report.
First time I received a message worded like this.

Has to be a schill bidder involved too...just to add credibility and to stimulate the greed factor.

I just saw and reported it again(!!!). Someone with the feedback of 264 has bid on the last three auctions.

By the time E-Bay gets to it the auction will be over. It looks like he did the 24hr twist.....LOL
