Error CUD | A mini mini rim cud on a 1956D

This looks like a very, very small rim cud on this 1956D. The reason I'm posting it is I was wondering if there are any large cuds for this date in this same location. Where this might be a early stage progression of a larger cud.

This one is very interesting! It doesn't look like a cud because the edges are too defined. The lowest portion of the per se cud has the striations that are on the S and T so I'm thinking that is the actual rim that was pushed into the field. BUT! There is something else about it that just doesn't feel right and I can't figure it out right now. Let's wait for others to comment.

Dave: Does that coin have some railroad tracks on the rim? By your picture it looks as though it does.

No I don't think so. Here's the whole obverse and two more shots of the cud to show the rim better.

Does the first look like a misaligned clash?

Thanks for the additional pictures. It is a cud and not necessarily a rim cud as it extends into the fields somewhat. However I do not know if it has been found in a larger stage. Someone with a cud reference book proably could tell you. Nice example.

Thanks Joe. If the rim had the railroad tracks what would that mean?

A partial titled collar and sometimes the metal is pushed up and looks like a cud when this happens. Your second set of pictures defined the cud and rim itself. Thanks!!!!!!
