1990P Die clash at Statue question

    I see abrasion, and maybe some plating issues. I'm not sure. The attached thumbnail (a 1985 overlay I had in my clash files) would be close for some of the details we are seeing, except bays 7 & 8. Even if there was a larger misalignment with a clash or the clash I am not seeing what could have impacted near the FG. Confusing.

      Thank you Jason! The overlay really helps alot! Now I can use it to look for things I may have missed. I agree FG is odd and nowhere near anything that could have clashed there.

          Could this be the last A of America that clashed at FG?

          I compared the coin to Jason's excellent overlays and could not find anything else.

            I think that is a pair of doilies at work That is a good pic by the way... I can still see what looks like the O of GOD at the corner of the memorial!!!

              I dunno Jim... I don't see an O... guess it's time to put this coin to bed. Maybe with different equipment I can see things better later on. Thanks to everyone for helping!!
