Error Die Clash/Break | 1990P Die clash at Statue question

I have looked at this die clash for about a week trying to figure it out. Unfortunately the die has been abraded. Looks to me that the clash is directly to the right of the statue, but then what I see in Bays 7 and 8 doesn't seem to match up with any part of what would probably be there.

Checked http://www.maddieclashes.com/ looked at 1990's, several other different years, overlays... thank you for looking and helping!

What I see in bays 2-4 make me think it shows a slightly misaligned die clash, not uncommon to the era. What is in bay 6 almost looks like the neck and that would be odd and much more misaligned - bays 7 & 8 are somewhat confusing. It could be a case of multiple clashes, maybe from different times. Are there any marks in any other places on the reverse?

Thank you Jason for taking a look! There is an area around FG that looks raised to me. Kind of strange, when you look at the coin with your bare eyes it looks like a real shiny scratch (different texture from the rest of the coin) but up close it looks raised and it goes from to the right of T CENT to the right of FG.

At STATES, I think it's struck through grease.

Brain twister.... Almost looks like the die got dropped installing it but it would take far more pressure to create. Is it possible that it was a flipped die cap that could have created enough pressure to transfer the obv. details to the rev die?

I was thinking the same thing. I noticed a slight bump near the top of bay 7 above the clash. When I left click and hold the button down on the image I can "move" (overlay) a copy around the page, align the clashes in 7 and 8 and see they line up with each other . There is also a slight "bump" on the column between 6&7 and 7&8 which is also more apparent when you move the image to align the two clashes. This appears to be a case of multiple clashes. Hope this helps.
          Good peepers Vivien!

Without doing an overlay, it looks like a 901 degree rotated clash??? Not 100% sure on that tho... B7 is the neck B8 the chin and B6 is the bow tie???

How can any clash be more than 180 degrees?

I agree that it is rotated but both clashes in B7 and B8 appear to be the bottom of the jaw leading to the neck (double clashed in this area), which continues lightly on top of the column and into the preceding bay.

Wowsers, that's a head-scratcher and a half! Almost looks like the outside part of the die or something...

LOL Jim... my photo of FG was rotated 901 degrees I had the most difficult time taking that photo! I didn't include it at first because I didn't see any way it could be part of the clash. So I re-took the photo last night and finally got a decent one.

To me that area there looks as if it could be the top rear of Abes head and the field of the die... I suffer from FFD - Fat Finger Disease
