Error Die Crack | Is this a die crack or a retained CUD? It's a double crack so not sure

I apologize for the duplicate image. I have no obverse image but this is a 1943-P Lincoln Wheat Cent with an obvious reverse error. I've tried to get a good image off my phone and figure out how to upload here as well as understand what I'm looking at. I typically use a 3.5 magnifier glasses and then look through an 8x loupe.

Taking advice from collectors I've tried to isolate real possible errors and hoping to record them here and get some advice if I've pegged the error correctly. As stated in my introduction I've not come across anything key or even a well-known variety. For instance I have about 50 x 1955 but no obvious doubling. I have about 10 1969S but no doubling. I don't think I have good enough eyes to see subtle date or mint mark errors but I have come across what I believe to be true doubling of LIBERTY on at least one coin I've looked through. As well as some doubling in certain letters but not all.

I think I have one doubling of "969" but not the one and another where it looks like a small date over a large date but only on the "1" and the "9". I'm hoping to keep isolated possibilities for RPM until I can get a microscope.

My collection is really still a hoard but I've recorded 100 of the best examples I've come across and I even have a 1909-P. Missing key dates, 1914, 1933 as well I haven't seemed to come across a 1954 which I find odd. But I'll keep looking.

I now wear a cotton glove and am very careful whereas in the beginning I was trying hard to only use the rim but wasn't really picky about my palm or the back of my hand. Sometimes I spill a roll of 50 into my sleeve. Other times I spill them onto a cloth meant for cleaning dust off film negatives.

Thank you for any feedback you offer on the coins I will upload for feedback.

    Hey Pam.

Hope you don't mind, I took the liberty (pun intended) of sharpening and lightening your picture so it was easier to see.

That's one cracked-up wheat you have there! I myself don't know quite enough to call that...but I think there's several cracks and I can't tell if they meet anywhere.

Hello Pam! Welcome to the LCF!

We all know how difficult it is to get photos that effectively show others what we see up close! Even with Frank's enhanced photo, when you try to zoom in the photo is loosing clarity. (Thank you Frank)

Can you see if you can zero in on the anomaly a bit closer? Instead of a full coin photo? It really helps the folks here to determine what you've got.

I have attached two more similar views. Hopefully this will expand enough to see a clear view.
Thank you very much for your advice

Welcome to the LCF... Thanks for the 2nd set of images.. They are much better... To me your coin looks to be a lamination peel... A really nice one at that... This is from our Glossary
Lamination Error: This is when metal cracks and flakes off of the surface of a coin, due to impurities in the alloy mixture. These occur almost exclusively on solid alloy coins, and are therefore found on pre-1982 Lincoln cents. The flaking piece may still be attached (retained) or can be missing.

Thank you VAB2013. I apologize I can't remember what LAM means. Is that lamination peel as jfines69 says?

Yes, that is correct, a lamination error - LAM for short. Very nice find, Congrats!!
