Roger, I have been looking at these photos for a while now and I just can't tell for sure. Can you get something more close-up by chance? I think the 004 is ruled out, but in some pics, it looks like it could be an 007. It gets confounding when there is damage also. I really hope you have it here. I know it isn't for everyone, but I find it most exciting.
Edit. Crud, I just realized you were posting pics of different coins. No wonder they looked different! I am a moron. Back to examining.

Thanks for clarifying my question. With your help, I will get better on this part of our hobby. Like you said, it is exciting and with some of the vararities, profitable too!

It really isn't a matter of getting better with the hobby. I think it's a matter of proofreading your posts and spelling. I honestly couldn't understand your first post, and the key word in the title is obviously not spelled anywhere close to correctly.
Just remember - we are asking and answering questions here about a VERY detail oriented hobby. Try to be more detail oriented about how you post.

Love it. I had no problem fast reading your response. Although, I must admit that I did not read the original post so well.
Chuck
Thanks Chuck - it was confusing and I did not proof read the message. But now that has been "clarified" do you think either coin is a mintmark style #006? the first three pictures are the first coin and the last three pictures are of the second coin. Can I have your opinion please?
Thankyou
Hi Roger, the second set looks like it might be an 006, but the flat spot is kinda hard to see from your pics. I found one of these also. Sorry, not much help. Tom

Wouldn't "smart people" realize that the word in question to which Chuck was referring was incorrectly spelled with two esses and no e, when in fact the word 'variety' is correctly spelled with no esses and one e? Therefore, your post, although interesting, has no relevance here whatsoever. Thanks for playing. Now can you tell us which mint mark style we are seeing here on the two coins posted, Stonecad?
