I zoomed in and in. I would say either a fake or a real coin that was hammered between leather and spread out. Do you have a scanner? Or try Simon's suggestion and use some magnification in front of the camera phone...

Here are more pics, not much better. You should get the difference in the size of the two coins from the image. It must be fake because both coins are identical except for the size.

Definitely not from the mint. Probably as I mentioned in the other post ..."Texas Cent"....which as Jason mentioned is a cent hammered between two pieces of leather.Comment

I still can't make anything out. Please hold up a magnifying glass to your cellphone and take a picture. The coin certainly doesn't appear to be an error of any sort. It is most certainly not a mint-made product.Comment
