Guess everyone is busy doing something. Thank you for your comment on the images, I have been working on them. I was hoping someone with a little more knowledge than me would look at this 1973 D RPM there is no match that I can find however it is an RPM my thought is a new one..............DanComment

To me your MM is to far south and east for VVs 004 and the split in the upper serif doea not appear to be in the same place... Did you take a good at CCs 006 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds The MM placement and the split in the upper serif look to be correct??? Also take a look at CCs 003 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds as it is also close but your MM may be just a tad to far south???Jim

After looking at the listings a thousand times, here are some more images of this 1973 D. Only thing I can think of is if the mint mark position doesn't match CC 004, then this must be a new one. Notice the similarities in image 003 and compare it to CC 004 there are what looks like die gouges under and a little to the left of the 1 in the date.................DanComment

I saw a few that could be a match on coppercoins but haven't studied them yet. I will give it a try!
