So far here, the issue is people's money being taken without any response. Repeated efforts have been made at contacting the individual in question without any reply. If the matter were concerning someone else, there'd be an angry mob wanting answers. This authority in question has displayed a history of repeated behavior, there's no crime in asking questions.

You'll see a greater depth to the matter shortly.

This may be an uncomfortable conversation, but so far I have seen no violations of forum rules. It the answer to the original question requires some explaining that is not comfortable, then so be it. I don't know what the true explanation is yet, but if someone is out there advertising a product, taking peoples money, and then failing to deliver that product without the decency of a single explanation after attempts from multiple parties to get an explanation, then it doesn't matter who you are, there needs to be some accountability. I hope there is a simple answer to all of this, and I hope it all turns out well in the end. The simplest answer could be one that is not pleasant though.

The matter at hand and another that has yet to come to light is a simple issue of ethics and accountability. Perhaps you can be more clear in your claim of conflicting statements.

Wow, I must have missed something...I haven't seen arguing like this on LCR before. Unfortunately I have nothing to contribute relating to the original topic. I am somewhat uncomfortable with the conversation as it is, and I really don't want to jump to conclusions about a fellow forum member I do not know well. I just hope the mods are keeping track of this topic...I would really hate to see it devolve into an all-out flame war.

simonm, I tend to agree with you,but don't see any harm in discussing things in a proper manner .But,I don't see the benefit of sweeping anything under the rug if there is truth to any of the implied statements (remember Paterno/Sandusky) either.

This conversation is being monitored. Some of you get it, other's don't. We try to take care of each other here, and if someone took your money without returning the goods, you would be on the other side of the fence. I will not allow bad mouthing of anyone here. Everything stated so far is a matter of public record, so those of you who think a vendetta is happening, or something else, is just plain not aware of the facts. I would have preferred the individual was able to take care of all of this in the background, but attempts to do so have been ignored or not addressed.
We will see what happens. Should it get much worse than it is, the thread will be locked or deleted.
