I bought my zOrb last July and once I got my PC to accept the software it has done a pretty good job for me. I will say though that high luster/shiny cents are sometimes difficult to photograph with it. Bill"Enjoy Every Sandwich"- Warren Zevon

I do all my photos and scope work mostly with
I have 3 now one on each computer and have given away to friends 9.The only problem I have had is the solder on the light has to be resoldered after 9 months of use. Easy task for me.
I do not use the stand that comes with it. I have a big rubber ring that holds it upright and against coin.
I have microscope but choose this one over the big boy.

I have to admit James has some decent pictures...so I would say the verdict is "buy any old junk"...at least we know how to answer this one in the future...plus we can now better understand why China is taking over our economy.

Those USBs will work. I am simply tired of dealing with mine tho. I'm upgrading.
Here is a link to some modifications you can do to them for better success.
I have that model celestron in the video and I'll let it go for $25 Shipped if you want it.Comment

The plastic lens in cheap microscopes are poor quality when it comes to images. The glass lens is so much better. Save your money and get a good one the first time.Richard S. Cooper Some have asked about my images I use, and I'm glad to say I've completed a DVD of these. Ask if you are interested. Newer members like these.Comment

Here is a photo I posted here on LCR using one of these cheapo mini scopes being discussed. Again, not great, but in a pinch, it helps me when I am searching.Attached Files"If Free Speech stops when someone gets offended, it is not really Free Speech."Comment
