You need to be more clear. I don't know what "naked cents" is. For the time being, I will move this to off-topic because as far as I know, it is not related to Lincoln Cents (someone correct me otherwise if I am wrong).

I have no clue either. Are you talking about blank planchets?

No pornography here my friend, you may be in the wrong place. In the places I frequent, I'd be escorted out if I threw pennies...

Chris I figured with the kind of pennies you'd throw, you'd have your own v.i.p. lounge.

Maybe he's talking about the 1916 Standing Liberty quarter. She flashed a boob on the coin, and people were so outraged that the mint had to change the design, true story.

Probably referring to unplated cents. But this is a good opportunity to show off my favorite type coin.

It's Super Bowl 38 all over again! Censor that thing Brad, Alex is too young to see it.
                    But seriously, beautiful coin.

Actually, that story maybe more of an urban legend than most think.

Too bad that other than the slip, the designer made the (wo)man on the SLQ look like a male roman gladiator.

I do think to OP is referring to non plated zinc cents, but its been fun to speculate.

I've never heard the term, and I've been handling Lincolns for nearly 30 years. Where did you hear the term?

Are you asking if the unplated cent is NOT a lincoln?
