Has anybody ever found coppercoins 1996-1DO-002? I have a bunch of 96's set aside, be nice to find a MS65! The BIE at MDS is a good way to spot it! Here's link https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...&die_state=eds

I haven't noticed any... Comparing CCs https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...&die_state=eds with VVs http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20D...996PDDO002.htm I have a feeling that unless you have one with little to no circ wear or PSD it will be missed... Unfortunate as it is a nice looking DDO!!!

Thanks Jim, I don't recall anyone finding this doubled die either. I get a lot of nice looking 96P's for some reason so it's on my "I'm gonna find one of those" list!

Slow but sure. Haven't had any decent weather and have to do outside so it's been slow going.

Taking shape, slowly but surely. Looking nice and with spring on its way, it'll be done before you know it.

Thanks Cliff!! It has been very slow! We just have a small place and I don't have anywhere inside to work. We're suppose to have rain all week, so I might take it to work and finish it in our warehouse.

Got some decent weather today, last for awHile, so I took advantage and got the slats done. Hopefully it won't have the ski lift look for long and will get rid of the safety issues!Armrests and done!

On to some Lincolns now!! Hope I don't get furryfrogged!

That's looking real nice Jon. I'm guessing you put the finish on the slats before assembly?
Great way to do it so even the screw holes have some protection.

Thanks Cliff!! I'm going to finish building it first. I have not done any finish on it yet. Once I have it finished it I'm going to tear it all down and have it laid out in order. The wife is going to paint it, I'll put it back together and then she is going to poly it once it's assembled.

That looks awesome... Much better than a ski lift Tuff when you get furryfrogged

The one area that always has problems with water issues is the interior of the screw holes and any two surfaces that contact each other, especially with oak (as you know because you deal with it regularly).
nice design that you will get a lot of use out of.

A carpenter I am not but thanks Viv!! This has been a slow project that I've been winging it from day one. Just looked at several different ones on the web and have been getting different ideas from each and putting what I like about each in Mom's swing.
