Yes Jim , there and just below that and above it to the neck where the anomaly is defined by a shadow instead of a sharp highlight then a shadow . Below the collar there looks to be a wide roll of highlights before the shadow instead of the sharp defined highlight of a die crack.

This does appear to be a lamination issue rather than a die crack.

No problem on the MIA... Hopefully you enjoyed your adventure... I think John is correct on the lamination... I do not remember seeing lamination issues on a 5c before but it can happen... Cool find!!!Jim

Jim , the older nickels saw quite a number issues with lams and the silver war years run rampant with lams.

I never knew that... An old dog can learn new tricks
I am use to seeing them on Lincolns and do not remember seeing any on 5c... Something I will be keeping an eye out for now!!!
