Just purchased my first key date! A 1931-S with an old cleaning, but full wheat lines on the back. Overall a great deal as a hole filler until I decide to upgrade.

Might as well post better pictures of my key dates/semi keys.
These coins were purchased from liveandievarieties, who often has a great selection of better-date wheats available.
First, a 1922D.

Simon: you should do this set in bu coins, you might go broke but it will be worth it in the long run. lol (i know, i must be nuts, right) set looks good so farHi All,
This summer I decided that I would start the long task of putting together a set of all the wheat cents. I made a purchase of some nice starting coins from a fellow member to get me on my way. Here are a few of the highlights of my set so far. (The 1909 VDB was the first coin I ever bought at a coin store, about 2 years ago)

I'm more of a fan of circulated wheats to be honest...I like XF-AU coins. They can have a very nice chocolate color and some can have nice mint luster and toning, plus they are a bit cheaper than MS coins. But to each their own.Comment
