Consider yourself lucky that you don't see Denver shield cents. With there reputation of superior quality control I never like to see them.

I have been seeing some Ds but not as many Ps... I have had dreams of 2017s without MMs

West coasters have their work cut out for them in this LC hunt. Even going back to the 60's, I get far more D's than P's.

I'd have to say it is close to 20:1 [unofficially] for Shield cents. And that doesn't even include all the rolls of 17D's which I don't even check anymore.

In fact, I think I get as many Memorial S's as, Memorial P's.

I have only gotten four 2017P's -- Three in change.

So far I haven't got a single P in normal change.
The only ones I got were searching boxes.

The D mint is the odd one for me. 2017-P's are everywhere.
Then again, Google says I could be at the Philly mint this time tomorrow if I got on my bike and started peddling right now.

So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John

It must be a sign of the times, you see no Ds and I see no Ps here in the west.
Modern travelers must be leaving their change at home and bringing their credit cards so they may have little change to bring home.
The migration of cents from E-W or W-E is at a slow pace now but none of them are scarce, there are billions in one side of the country and few in the other.

They are in Oklahoma and Delaware... Oklahoma just had a 4.2 quake and Delaware had a 4.1 (I think it was 4.1)

That is a good point Ed. Since starting to search Lincolns I use cash a little more but before that I very seldom carried any. I think that is the norm now to use credit and debit cards for the most part.

I just started on some Loomis rolls... They are mixed years... About 20% have been 17Ds... That is the most I've seen at one time!!!
