I think 5 to 10 notes (numismatic value no more than $150 or so). This is probably a 1-time project, so doing as many as needed all at the same time would be best.

Outside of the bills being decided, I think we're close to moving forward.

10 seems like kind of a lot. The fewer there are, the more each of them could go for.

As this is a forum-wide project, I would like to hear what other members think in terms of number of bills, and which kinds of bills we should send out.

I don't feel strongly about any specific number of bills. Whatever is agreed on we can pick up and get things moving. Just need a "shopping list".

Ok, reaching out to everyone so we can move this along in order for Chris to have time to pick some stuff up: which bills do we want?

I'm ok with what ever everyone wants. At my age I can only make so many decisions a day and I used up my allotment some where after getting out of bed and deciding what to wear today. "My wife didn't much of my 2nd choice".

I think the ones you have listed in your post #44 are ideal Simon. Let's start with that list and see where it goes.

2 different $5 bills would be a lot of fun, but if I had to buy them they'd be well over face. I have no problem with that, but I bet someone could find decent (sharp if not crisp) examples in circulation. I can reimburse anyone who can send them to get it started.

Let me know, we're off the grid after Tuesday.

You might as well move me next to Andrew and Admrose, since I am working about 10 minutes from Andrew. It will save an additional shipping. Thanks.

Still looking for opinions on what Chris should get. The sooner we decide, the easier it is for him and all of us.

You mean people still use cash? I'm shocked. That being said I'm willing to throw in the two silver certificates I have; I don't collect them and they're just taking up space strapped to the box of my 2011 Proof Set.
