I would think it better to keep them separate. That way several people will have the chance to own one.

I agree, share the love, share the $$. (Donation $$ that is).

If not too much of a problem I believe they should be frame individually.
This is definitely a good idea, but any framing should be done by the person winning the note(s). They may want to store it somewhere else like in a book. Let's just concentrate on getting the bills done for now.

            Fair enough, Bob.

Framing will be done by the winners.

I think Chris knows what notes he is getting per my previously mentioned list. If someone has a nice $5 note, please get in touch with him to mail it off.

Once Chris returns from his travels and shows, I think we can get started mailing the notes out and such. That should be mid to late August.

            Thanks everyone!

Thank you Simon. I'll pick up everything including the $5. We'll be back in just over 2 weeks to get this started! Fun project, I'm looking forward to it.

Last day for signing up, folks. After that, it is closed and I will post the official announcement with the order this thing will go in, and once chris finds the time, hopefully he can give info on how to send it with tracking info.
Once I announce the official order, I think it would be good for people to exchange addresses with those people that they will be both receiving the note from and sending it to.

                Thanks again!

This is just an update that I have contacted Chris, and all the necessary items are in his possession. It is now just a matter of finding time to schedule. Many of the members lead busy lives, and I promise we will get this going as soon as time allows.

Actually, we're all good to go!

It took a couple of weeks to get our head's above water after being away from home and business for so long.

I picked up all the needed bills, even found an older crisp $5 in circulation from the show.

Shortly, I'll be posting pictures of the bills and we will be able to get them shipped off on Tuesday, after the holiday.

SIMON: why don't you start a new thread outlying the rules and expectations for anyone planning on participating. I think it would be best to lay out the guidelines and then have each member (in order of shipment) agree that they can fulfill basic requirements, mostly that they will ship safely with tracking information, no exceptions.

I don't think it's a thread that needs any discussion or discourse, unless it's a question pertaining to how to ship or anything else for those involved.

I will post the photos of the bills in the new thread. Sound reasonable?

Excellent, Chris. And if you could post a quick "how to" for shipping with delivery confirmation on it so that we all know how to do it, that would be great. I'll get the thread started soon.
