So I've been searching quite a few bricks over the past several months. There's been talk out there about people hoarding the 17-P's. I've been finding quite a few with no problem.

You know what I have noticed during my searches? "Very few" Bicentennial 2009's, the Birth & Early Childhood, Formative Years, Professional Life and the Presidency from where I sit. Have you guys noticed that?

Tom, I've noticed the same thing with the 2009 Lincoln cents. About 2-3 years ago I found a bunch in very good condition but since then it has dropped to just a couple or none in a brick.

The 2017's I think were hoarded in the beginning because people were selling them like crazy on ebay because of the first year of the P mint mark. I'm hoping the hoards get dropped into circulation and more doubled dies are found!

Well guys... just counted my stack of unattributed doubled dies and there's 17! I can't seem to find die markers for any of these so I'm saving them for a snowy day *** You know, after you have looked at a Lincoln for so long, it can wear you out! Getting a new brick tomorrow, hoping for a good mix of old and new!

Not many even seen down here until three weeks ago when I got $14 of rolls from the bank and there were three rolls of the Formative Years. They were wrapped in clear plastic and I was dejected at first until I saw the date and that they were FY.
Anyone know which bank or transport service uses the clear plastic?

No, I don't who wraps them in plastic. Did it look like those three rolls of FY coins were ever in circulation?

Cliff, I have wondered about the clear plastic rolls too. Never got any plastic wrapped rolls from the bank, but have from the grocery stores. That plastic is hard to get into!

My apologies everyone but they were design #1, Lincoln's Birthplace.
Doesn't appear they were ever in circulation.
The Birthplace Lincoln cents have a lot of DDO's associated with the ends of the logs. I started to look at the Wexler page and got overwhelmed by some of the minimal differences.

Lots of traffic this evening, I think Thanksgiving is next week! Made it to the bank with 2 MINUTES TO SPARE! Thankfully I called in advance and asked my teller friend to please put together a good box of pennies for me. Yay... it's a good one!!!

Oh yes, and I plan to, been listening to these Alabama fans for about 4 years. Last Auburn win over Bama was in 2013 so once the Bama fans come out of hiding, it's our turn!
