Count me in for ebay questions. I love ebay as much as I hate ebay lol. There are a lot of people on here who know tons about ebay and how they operate, the little quirks about getting or understanding info (such as this post).

Don't be afraid, just ask. Lots will chime in! That I promise you

          Lucky is all

I agree that it should be no higher than MS66RED.

I think that the reason this coin was saved way back in 1992 is because of the rotated die.

The person who saved the coin, because of the rotated die,had no idea it was a CAM because the variety was not even known untill 2006.

After the discovery,I bet the owner checked it for the CAM and got lucky.

              it says:

              my post says......"I Think"

It does not say it was saved way back in 92.
              thats my opinion.

if it didnt have the rotated reverse,I bet it would have just been circulated, like any other 92.

I would tend to agree with your logic or perhaps it was in a mint set or something of that nature. Preserved in some fashion for sure.

There are thousands of OBW rolls from'92, though I believe the price just went up!

I'll bet there is more money made on those rolls than on the 92 CAM's actually found.

Interesting...i just clicked on the link for the listing.

It shows me, while viewing it through my phone, the actual ebay user id name and their feedback # & %

Is this normal once an item reaches a certain,$ amount??

                          all found in circulation

each time a 92 P or D CAM has been found, there has been forum postings and even coin magazine articles.....and I remember pretty clearly that no one found any in mint sets or OBW rolls.(or I would have been buying up mint sets)
The grades of the coins known so far support that reporting.
This coin for sale now is of course the highest quality coin found so far.(I say so far because I am still looking...)

I myself have searched over 100 92 OBW rolls.

So I would have to guess that you already read about it and how it was found

It's at $10k now. My computer does not show the actual user ID, maybe it is a quirk with the phone program? The current high bidder has a feedback score of 4.

no i do not know where this one came from.
the ones i did read about never mentioned a rotated die.
