Jon, I hope so too! That would be so cool to find your 82P on the GW Lincoln cloth! I'm still trying to figure out the reason why someone did that, some Lincolns are heads and and some are not, no rhyme or reason.Comment

Or just a rainy day project to keep the little one's busy and preserve Mom/Dad's sanity!!!Comment

The sanity would be worth a lot more than the value of dollar coins so mom and dad did good with the pennies

I don't know if many here go to Goodwill or not but you never know what you might find there! Got this cloth with about 300 Lincolns hot glued to it ranging anywhere from 1966 to 2000. The girl at the counter was not sure what to charge so she made it $1.00 plus tax, heh, heh. Figured you guys would get a kick out of that. I'll let you know if I find anything.Comment

Well guys, Lincoln Hunting Season is now open here, it's getting cold outside! Tonight's low 32 brrrr... Still searching those 17P's, went to the bank yesterday to get another brick, opened it on the spot and saw a few copper ends so I took it. Happy Hunting!Comment

Good luck Viv! I bet it looks something like this...

Thank you Tom! You have more copper in that box than I do! Different looking wrappers too, no name? Usually mine are Loomis, very rarely HR String & Sons, but never blank. Tom I have memorized over a dozen 17P die cracks, devices look thin so if any extra thickness shows up it will surely catch my eye! I think I have found one minor DD and one TD.Comment

I don't know if you know or not, but you can turn the box upside down and look through the holes and be able to tell if they are all new or mixed. Wasn't sure if you knew.Comment

yesterday there were people behind me at the bank and here I am attacking this box trying to get it open... it was not pretty!Last edited by VAB2013; 10-28-2017, 11:23 AM.Comment

Really? Hmmm. I'm sitting here thinking, I don't think I have ever gotten a box/brick of cents with holes in the box. The boxes I've gotten have all been solid, no holes. Maybe it the area of the country we live in?!?! However, "ALL" the half dollar boxes I have gotten all have the holes top and bottom. Once before I opened the box, I was able to see a silver 64 ender! That was exciting.Comment

You know, I hardly ever get boxes with the holes but that is a great cheat! I know one thing, they must use gorilla glue to seal them, you just about have to tear the box up to get it open
