No D (1922): See Weak D/ No D (1922).
No FG: Lincoln memorial cents are sometimes missing the FG initials on the reverse. This can be the result of a struck through filled die or can be the result of over-abrasion of the die.
Notching: The splits seen at the serifs or corners of the devices on a doubled die. These are often accompanied by division lines (separation lines) on doubled devices.
Numismatist: A person who studies and/or collects currency, especially coins.
Numismatics: The study and practice of collecting currency, especially coins.
